Overview
World
The world has received a massive overhaul. Caves are sprawling, mineshafts cover entire breadths of space, spiders have woven their own caves, pyramids are almost as enormous as Ancient Cities and bring their own kinds of hostile challenges to bear. Mountains reach up almost to the block limit, while various kinds of new ores and riches await in the depths below.
- Explore an entirely new world generation using Tectonic. Rivers carving through the landscape, lava rivers making bends and turns in the depths below, mountains that reach into the sky… and more!
- Cobblemon is part of this pack! Capture familiar, yet unknown species and bring your might to bear against other players. Some Cobblemon can even be mounted, allowing you to run – or soar across the lands!
- Find and traverse deadly expanses on the surface (Moog’s Structures et al), in the underground (Alex’s Caves), in the Nether (Incendium) and the End (Nullscape).
- Xaero’s Minimap helps with exploration, and Tetra’s tools provide the means you need to prove yourself in this new and only somewhat forgiving new world.
Farming
A big part of the pack revolves around the large variety of foods added into it! Using all of Farmer’s Delight and its addons, can you fashion the meals that will have your name in everyone’s mouth?
- There are well over a thousand different meals – Pick your favourites!
- Utilize various techniques from crab traps over pickling and aging and eventually even automated fishing to create whatever culinary treats you fancy.
- Varying your diet is essential – No, not because you are penalized for not eating a varied diet. It’s the opposite way around – With The Spice of Life: Apple Pie Edition, a high diversity in nourishing foods expands your health bar and nets you additional effects!
Technology
The third pillar in this pack, arguably the largest one.
- Create and its many addons stand at the ready. Build convoluted, creative machinery (or even a Rube Goldberg machine) and let it process your materials into better materials!
- Process ores, fluids, enchantments and food – Fancy a metal foundry? What about some good old-fashioned oil distillation? Train lines? Overenchanting? What plans can you hatch?
- As an in-between solution, Embers allows you to procure crystals from deep within bedrock, then turn those crystals into animated energy. Later on, you can even turn said energy into electricity!
